Hey, I’m Allan Boyd. Based in Perth/Boorloo, Western Australia. I’ve been making professional websites since 1998, when the internet was just a tiny baby. I’ve designed, developed and maintained hundreds of websites. Here’s some recent examples.

In the 1980s I began hacking code on a basic Commodore 64, then 386 desktops – before the actual world wide web was a thing. I got my first internet-connected computer in September 98. It was all dial-up modems and desktops. No laptops, tablets or mobile phones yet… But the world had opened wide.

I quickly figured out how to reverse engineer a webpage using the Netscape Navigator browser. I realised that if I manipulated the html code from inside a web browser, I could change the look and feel of the website.

This inspired me to experiment with little sites for fun. I built band websites and online zines. I made activist sites and began helping people and organisations get online. Soon they were paying me to build a webpage for them. And I haven’t stopped since. I went on to study Cyber Security and Digital Journalism at Edith Cowan University.

Over the years clients have included the West Australian Government, Local Government Authorities, NRMs, Political Parties, Politicians, Retailers, Online Shops, Fashion Boutiques, Plumbers, Electricians, Landscapers, Remote Construction, University Departments, Schools, NGO’s, NFPs, Artists, Writers, Sole Traders etc etc etc.

I have also spent decades helping businesses and organisations with Digital Transformation and IT Coordination.
